Front of house
- Driveway, walkway and steps as one project
- Porch resurfacing to match
- Soldier courses and borders
- Railing posts set properly
Doing these separately is what leaves a mismatched front yard.

FOUR40 builds interlocking driveways, walkways, patios, steps and porches across Vaughan — Maple, Woodbridge, Thornhill, Kleinburg and Vellore Village — on a 300 mm compacted Granular A base. Free on-site estimates.
In Vaughan
Vaughan is where we do the most front-of-house work: driveways, porch resurfacing and step runs quoted as one project, because a new driveway that stops at tired concrete steps looks worse than either did before. It is also a strong area for winter interior work, which keeps the same crew on the same clients across the year.

Year-round, not just a winter fallback.

Working with us
We measure, check drainage and grade, and talk through what you actually want. Free, and no pressure to sign anything.
Scope, materials, base depth and price in writing. You'll know exactly what's included before a shovel moves.
Ontario One Call locates booked, materials ordered, start date confirmed. A realistic window, not an optimistic one.
Excavation, base, compaction, install. Site cleaned at the end of each day — you still have to live there.
We walk it together before final payment. Anything on your list gets fixed, then we're back if settling shows up.
Questions
Replacing a driveway in its existing footprint generally does not need a building permit. Widening it, or cutting a new curb across the boulevard, does need approval from the City of Vaughan, and the rules on maximum width and how much of the front yard can be hard surface differ between municipalities. We confirm what applies to your address before quoting.
It depends on the season. Spring and early summer are booked over the winter, so a job signed in January is usually in the ground by April. Interior work has much shorter lead times year-round.
No. Vaughan is inside our normal working radius from Stouffville, which is deliberately kept tight — travel time comes out of the working day, and a contractor who is two hours away is a contractor who does not come back.
Yes. Minor settling in the first season is not unusual and lifting and resetting a small area is straightforward. Being twenty minutes away is the practical reason we can do that.
