What we collect, and why
Information you give us. When you submit the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address, city, a description of the work, and any photos you choose to attach. We use it for one purpose: to contact you about your project and prepare a quote.
Information collected automatically. With your consent we use analytics to understand which pages people find useful — pages viewed, approximate region, device type and how you arrived. This is aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
Advertising technology. With your consent we may use the Meta pixel to measure whether our advertising reaches people who go on to contact us. You can decline this in the cookie banner and through your browser and platform settings.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with lead-generation networks or other contractors. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
Consent
Submitting the quote form is your consent for us to contact you about that project — by phone, email or text. Under Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL) that consent is implied and time-limited. Any message we send identifies us and gives you a way to stop receiving them. Tell us to stop and we stop.
Service providers
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Form submissions are processed by a third-party form service that delivers them to our inbox. Spam filtering on the form is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries are kept while the enquiry is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up and record-keeping. Records relating to work performed are kept as long as needed for warranty, tax and legal purposes.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@four40homes.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Cookies
Essential cookies keep the site working. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you accept them in the banner, and your choice is stored in your browser so you're not asked repeatedly. Clearing your browser storage resets the choice.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top of this page.
