What's included
Everything that goes wrong with a fence — leaning, sagging, gates that stop latching — is a post problem. The boards are the cheap, replaceable part.

What it costs
We publish real numbers rather than "it depends" — but only once they're ours to publish. Our written ranges are being finalised; call and we'll give you one over the phone in a minute. What moves the number:
Working with us
We measure, check drainage and grade, and talk through what you actually want. Free, and no pressure to sign anything.
Scope, materials, base depth and price in writing. You'll know exactly what's included before a shovel moves.
Ontario One Call locates booked, materials ordered, start date confirmed. A realistic window, not an optimistic one.
Excavation, base, compaction, install. Site cleaned at the end of each day — you still have to live there.
We walk it together before final payment. Anything on your list gets fixed, then we're back if settling shows up.
Questions
Below the frost line, which in this region means roughly 1.2 m. Posts set shallow lift and lean after a couple of winters, and a leaning fence cannot be straightened without redoing the posts — which is the whole fence.
Ontario has legislation covering shared boundary fences and municipalities have their own height and construction bylaws. In practice the useful step is talking to the neighbour before you book anything, because a shared fence is much cheaper split two ways and much more expensive to argue about afterwards.
Often. If the posts are sound, replacing rails and boards is straightforward and far cheaper. If the posts are rotting at grade or leaning, the fence is telling you it needs redoing.
Glass railing systems are engineered assemblies and we bring in a specialist for the glass itself. Aluminum and wood railings, posts, footings and the structure they attach to are our own work.
