What's included
In almost every kitchen we do, counter fabrication is the longest wait. Planning around it up front is the difference between a three-week kitchen and a five-week one.
What it costs
We publish real numbers rather than "it depends" — but only once they're ours to publish. Our written ranges are being finalised; call and we'll give you one over the phone in a minute. What moves the number:
Working with us
We measure, check drainage and grade, and talk through what you actually want. Free, and no pressure to sign anything.
Scope, materials, base depth and price in writing. You'll know exactly what's included before a shovel moves.
Ontario One Call locates booked, materials ordered, start date confirmed. A realistic window, not an optimistic one.
Excavation, base, compaction, install. Site cleaned at the end of each day — you still have to live there.
We walk it together before final payment. Anything on your list gets fixed, then we're back if settling shows up.
Questions
Quartz is engineered, non-porous, consistent slab to slab and needs no sealing — which is why it has become the default. Granite is natural, so every slab differs, and it needs periodic sealing. Choose granite because you want that particular stone, not because you expect it to perform better.
Templating happens once the cabinets are set and level, and fabrication is typically one to two weeks after that. It is normally the longest single wait in a kitchen, which is why it goes into the schedule at the start rather than being discovered in the middle.
Yes, and it is one of the highest-impact small jobs in a house. A day or two of work changes a kitchen more than most people expect.
Noticeably. Every angled cut is handled twice and produces waste, and mosaic sheets need careful alignment so the grid does not drift. Worth it, but price it as the extra labour it is.
Service area
Close enough to come back if something needs attention — which matters more than it sounds.
