Soffit and fascia
- Aluminum and vinyl soffit
- Fascia capping and replacement
- Ventilation restored, not blocked
- Rotten timber replaced before capping
Capping over rot hides it. It does not fix it.

FOUR40 replaces and repairs soffit, fascia, siding and eavestroughs across the GTA — the envelope below the roof line, done as one job because it fails as one system. Free on-site estimates.
What's included
Fascia rots because the eavestrough overflowed. Soffit gets blocked and the attic runs damp. Doing one and not the others usually means going back up.

What it costs
We publish real numbers rather than "it depends" — but only once they're ours to publish. Our written ranges are being finalised; call and we'll give you one over the phone in a minute. What moves the number:
Working with us
We measure, check drainage and grade, and talk through what you actually want. Free, and no pressure to sign anything.
Scope, materials, base depth and price in writing. You'll know exactly what's included before a shovel moves.
Ontario One Call locates booked, materials ordered, start date confirmed. A realistic window, not an optimistic one.
Excavation, base, compaction, install. Site cleaned at the end of each day — you still have to live there.
We walk it together before final payment. Anything on your list gets fixed, then we're back if settling shows up.
Questions
Fascia is the board at the roof edge that the eavestrough hangs on. Soffit is the underside panel between the fascia and the wall, and it ventilates the attic. Eavestrough is the gutter itself. They fail together and are usually best done together.
Because attic moisture and ice damming are ventilation problems. Blocked or missing soffit vents mean the attic runs warm and damp, which shortens the roof's life and shows up as ice dams at the eaves in winter.
Under heavy tree cover, usually yes. On an open lot they solve a problem you do not have. The cheap mesh types clog with fine debris and become worse than nothing.
No. Roofing carries fall exposure and leak liability that we would rather not take on, and we would rather tell you that than learn it on your house. Envelope work below the roof line is ours.
